About The Position
The Parkview Cancer Institute in Goshen, Indiana, is hiring an Advanced Practice Provider to join its Surgical Oncology team. Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants will be considered. This is a full-time role in a team-centered, collaborative environment. The APP will assist Surgical Oncologists in caring for complex cancer patients across inpatient and outpatient settings and will assist in the operating room. The institute’s cancer specialists collaborate to develop integrative treatment plans, with a multidisciplinary team that meets weekly to follow patients’ progress. The institute also has a research department and enrolls patients in clinical trials. It offers on-site Ethos treatment and has recognition from the American College of Surgeons and the HOPE Award for Integrated Care from Hematology & Oncology News. Its accreditations include CoC-Commission on Cancer, NAPRC-National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer, and NAPBC-National Accreditation Program for Breast Cancer. The position is based in Goshen, Northern Indiana. Requirements
- Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant; both will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Assist Surgical Oncologists in the care of complex cancer patients.
- Provide care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Assist in the operating room.
- Participate in following patients’ progress as part of the multidisciplinary team.
