About The Position

The Advanced Practice Provider is a licensed professional who will function independently, but provides care under the supervision of the Medical Director. They will plan, implement and evaluate treatment in accordance with patient care standards and physician order, as applicable. They will act as a liaison between the physician, patient and family, and collaborates with other health care professionals as appropriate. They may assist in the orientation of new employees, and may participate in hospital or department committees.

Requirements

Nurse Practitioner: State of Ohio graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Physician Assistant: Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program.
Master degree preferred, or eligibility for prescriptive authority under Ohio law.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a physician office or hospital setting.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong communication skills, with the general public, in person and on the telephone.
Current licensure by the Ohio State Board of Nursing (for Nurse Practitioner).
Current PA licensure by the State Medical Board of Ohio (for Physician Assistant).

Nice To Haves

Experience in clinic setting a plus.
Experience in the specialty area indicated preferred.
