Critical Care - Advanced Practice Provider
About The Position
Carle Health is seeking experienced Advanced Practice Providers to join our Inpatient Hospital ICU team at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois. This role involves assisting with the management of critical care patients in the ICU alongside Critical Care Physicians and Providers. Procedures will be performed after a comprehensive training period during orientation. The APP will work in our 12-bed CVICU and 12-bed Medical/Surgical ICU, with an average patient census of 5 patients per shift. The schedule offers flexibility with a mix of 8 or 12-hour shifts, including weekdays, nights, evenings, and weekends.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing with Acute Care specialty (ACNP) or Physician Assistant
- 1 -3 years of Acute Care/Intensive Care experience as a Provider or as an RN required
- Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse licensure /physician assistant licensure
Responsibilities
- Assist with management of critical care patients in the ICU along with Pulmonology/Critical Care Physicians and Providers
- Perform procedures after completing full training during orientation
