Advanced Practice Provider - Vascular Surgery, CHVH
About The Position
Community Physician Network is seeking a board-certified advanced practice provider to join a well-established vascular team at our Community Heart and Vascular Hospital. We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with required experience in vascular surgery, cardiology, surgical first assist, ER, PCU, or ICU. This role will involve vascular surgery, rounding, and potential clinic responsibilities at Community Heart and and Vascular Hospital. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a surgical on-call rotation (1 in 3). There is no vascular weekend call. This position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package and utilizes Epic EMR.
Requirements
- Board-certified advanced practice provider
- Experience in vascular surgery, cardiology, surgical first assist, ER, PCU, or ICU
- 3 to 5 years' experience required
- Must successfully complete a nationally recognized Advanced Practice Nurse certification examination or have current national certification; must maintain certification on an ongoing basis
- Must be eligible for prescriptive authority under the criteria outlined by the Indiana State Board of Nursing; must maintain eligibility for prescriptive authority on an ongoing basis
