About The Position

This position provides patient care and other activities permitted by licensure and defined by applicable credentialing, privileging, scope-of-practice, and consultation and referral documentation. The role delivers effective clinical care, educates patients, families, clinical staff, and others, consults with healthcare providers, and maintains current knowledge of options for optimal care and outcomes. As a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner on the Urology team, the provider works with healthcare professionals to deliver quality care and an excellent patient experience. The role is based at St. James Hospital and the Butte Clinic, serving a wide range of patients in a quickly evolving environment. It is primarily a clinic position, with potential for assisting in the operating room in the future. Physician support is available on site four days per month, and the role includes partnership with a supportive clinical group and staff. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with no call and no weekends. Support may be primarily virtual. The role offers a $10,000 starting bonus, relocation assistance of up to $7,500 when applicable, and student loan repayment assistance of up to $25,000 when applicable. The position is PSLF eligible. Requirements

Active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license from the Montana State Board.
Prescriptive authority from the Montana State Board of Nursing or Board of Medical Examiners, and a DEA license.
Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
ACLS certification within six months of employment, where site-specific.
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multifunctional team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfort with support being primarily virtual.

Use manual dexterity to handle delicate equipment, operate computers, document patient care, access information, and prepare medications.
Lift, move, and transfer patients; retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.
Walk and assist with transporting or ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment, including pushing or pulling gurneys and portable equipment.
Stand in a stationary position for extended periods when required.
