Advanced Practice Provider- Surgery, 36HR Day Flex Shift (6a-630p w/flex) TUH
About The Position
Temple University Hospital is looking to add an Advanced Practice Provider (APP; Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for the Surgery division of our health system. The APP will have NO ON-CALL, an every 3rd weekend rotation, and a holiday rotation. We need for the candidate to have a strong Cardiac background such as Cardiac ICU, Cath Lab, Telemetry, etc. Candidate must be knowledgeable in hemodynamics. The APP treats and evaluates patients; administers advanced nursing care in a particular clinical specialty area under the direction of the licensed physician. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities including diagnosis and the prescription of medical therapeutics or corrective measures in collaboration with and under the direction of the licensed physician.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing - Required
- Master's Degree Nursing - Required OR Masters degree in Physician Assistant studies - Required
- PA Registered Nurse License - Required
- Multi State Compact RN License - Required or a Physician Assistant License - Required
Nice To Haves
- 1 year experience in a cardiac specialty
- 2 years experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
- Prescriptive Authority
