About The Position
Riverside Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Structural Heart Cardiology team at Riverside Cardiology Specialists in Newport News, Virginia. This is a full-time position where you will work Monday-Friday in both inpatient and outpatient settings, partnering closely with our Structural Heart and Electrophysiology physicians. Weekend coverage is scheduled as needed. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional cardiac care using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and a patient-first approach. You’ll be part of a respected group of board-certified cardiologists offering a full spectrum of services.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner: Master’s in Nursing, NP License & Certification, FNPs must have a cardiology subspecialty for hospital rounding
- Physician Assistant: Master’s Degree, PA License
- Current Virginia medical license (or eligibility)
- DEA registration
- Commitment to professional excellence
Nice To Haves
- Prior cardiology experience or a strong cardiac nursing background
- Familiarity with TAVR, Watchman, MitraClip, PFO/ASD procedures
- Experience with cardiac registries is a plus
Responsibilities
- Work Monday–Friday in both inpatient and outpatient settings, partnering closely with our Structural Heart and Electrophysiology physicians.
- Provide weekend coverage as needed.
