About The Position
ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider- Pediatric Hospitalist in Toledo, Ohio. This inpatient position provides services to pediatric patients requiring admission. The role involves a schedule of 6:00 am - 6:00 pm, with holidays and potential weekends required, but no call. The patient volume is approximately 15 per day. This position is open to new graduates and requires pediatric certification for NP applicants. Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are advanced practice registered nurses (APNs) who have completed advanced education and clinical training beyond their initial registered nurse (RN) preparation. They play a vital role across ProMedica by providing a wide range of healthcare services, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, managing chronic conditions, long-term disease management, and promoting health and wellness. NPs can work in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, urgent care, long-term care facilities, and private practices, and may specialize in areas like family medicine, pediatrics, or geriatrics. Requirements
- Master of Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing (DNP) degree for Nurse Practitioner applicants.
- State licensure(s) required in the state(s) where the Nurse Practitioner will work.
- Certificate of Authority to practice.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification and certification(s) applicable to your role.
- Pediatric certification for NP applicants.
