Seattle Children’s Hospital is seeking a dedicated, collaborative Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for a limited-term position exclusively within our specialized Psychiatry Behavioral Medicine Unit (PBMU). The PBMU is a secure, short-term (7 to 10 days) inpatient crisis stabilization unit treating children and youth ages 4 to 17. Our unit utilizes Modified Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (M-PBIS) as our guiding care framework and integrates Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) to help youth build long-term coping mechanisms. In this role, you will provide direct care and assume primary responsibility for the inpatient clinical management of pediatric psychiatry patients. You will work within a tightly-knit, dedicated care team focused on helping youth stabilize and transition safely back to their families and communities.
