About The Position

EPIC Health is launching operations in the Silver Spring, Maryland area and is seeking a passionate Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join their new Maryland team. This role is for a full-time, on-site position with an anticipated start date in November/December 2026. EPIC Health is a multi-specialty practice focused on delivering uncompromising healthcare across all stages of life. The organization is looking for individuals with a clinical expertise and an "all-in attitude" to contribute to a fast-paced, patient-centered environment and help establish the company's presence in Maryland.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in Primary Care and Pediatrics preferred.
  • Active Maryland PA or FNP/APRN license required.
  • Current national certification appropriate to your profession and specialty.
  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • A deep understanding of patient care, a desire to keep learning, and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to adapt while keeping patient outcomes front and center.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with patients, families, physicians, and other members of the care team.
  • Background checks are required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Examine patients, gather health histories, and evaluate their physical condition to make informed diagnoses and treatment decisions.
  • Prescribe therapy or medications as permitted by applicable scope-of-practice requirements and coordinate care to deliver comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Administer and interpret diagnostic tests, including EKGs and laboratory work, as appropriate to the role and scope of practice.
  • Counsel patients on health regimens, growth and development, family planning, and preventive care.
  • Deliver essential care through procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and immunizations, as appropriate to training and scope of practice.
  • Work with technicians and assistants to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and smooth daily operations.
  • Contribute to establishing EPIC’s clinical workflows, culture, and patient-centered approach as the organization launches and grows in Maryland.
