Shriners Children’s Salt Lake City is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our team in a full-time, outpatient role. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collegial, teaching-oriented environment with strong support, mentorship, and long-term growth potential. This provider will care for pediatric patients in an exclusively clinic-based setting, delivering pre-operative, post-operative, and non-operative care across a broad spectrum of orthopedic conditions. Responsibilities include the evaluation and management of general pediatric orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to fracture care and follow-up, sprains and minor sports injuries, developmental conditions such as hip dysplasia and flatfoot, gait and alignment concerns, and common overuse injuries. The role also includes caring for patients with neuromuscular and spine conditions, such as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, scoliosis, kyphosis, and other spinal deformities. Additional duties include routine post-operative follow-up and in-office procedures such as casting, bracing, and wound care. The role will also include an average of 1–2 days per week of coverage at our offsite clinic in Ogden. This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and no call, weekend, or holiday coverage requirements, offering excellent work-life balance.
