About The Position

Requirements

  • Active Michigan PA or FNP license.
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and patient assessment skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Nice To Haves

  • 2–5 years of experience in Primary Care and Pediatrics preferred.
  • Experience working in high-volume or multi-specialty clinic settings.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving patient outcomes.
  • Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with clinical guidelines and physician collaboration.
  • Ensure continuity of care through proper follow-up and patient management.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests including: Laboratory testing, EKGs, X-rays.
  • Perform clinical procedures such as: Suturing, Wound care, Injections, Immunizations, Minor in-office treatments.
  • Counsel patients and families on wellness, disease prevention, family planning, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle habits.
  • Provide education on treatment plans, medications, and preventive healthcare practices.
  • Promote patient engagement and long-term health management.
  • Collaborate with medical assistants, technicians, and support staff to maintain efficient clinic operations.
  • Support a positive, patient-focused clinical environment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation within electronic medical record systems.
