About The Position

The Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C or ARNP) is a Full Time, Regular position working Monday-Friday rotating through our Sacred Heart and Holy Family locations with no call in Spokane WA. Radiology experience highly desired. Job duties will include diagnostic and interventional radiology. The ARNP must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment in meeting continual deadlines; handle multiple priorities in busy clinics/hospital with constant interruptions; be highly organized to meet deadlines. Interactions with radiologists, other departments within Inland Imaging, patients and family members and outside contacts is key. Must have excellent written, verbal and personal communication skills; be tactful and diplomatic; and be highly confidential. Must make decisions regarding daily work priorities, and other decisions based on company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Completed an advanced formal education program
  • Licensed as an ARNP in the State of Washington
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented, organized, ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to learn new computer applications and utilize in the work environment
  • Ability to consider individual needs in communication with and assessment and treatment of patients of all ages
  • Must be able to pass a background check required by RCW 43.43.830-840 to work with children under the age of 16, developmentally disabled persons or vulnerable adults
  • Employees must not be included on the LIST OF EXCLUDED INDIVIDUALS provided by the Department of Health & Human Services, Office of the Inspector General (OIG).
  • Eligible employees must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Provides appropriate primary care to patients primarily within the inpatient and, occasionally, the outpatient setting.
  • Performs consultations, history and physicals, orders appropriate diagnostic tests, provides or prescribes appropriate medications, treatments and follow-up care for multiple disease states.
  • Includes hospital admits, discharges, and daily rounds and triage of patient and hospital personnel phone calls.
  • These tasks may be performed independently or under the supervision of a physician in the outpatient clinic and acute care settings as allowed by state licensure and hospital privileging guidelines.
  • Coordinates care with the attending or primary care physician and Interventional radiologist as patient condition requires, acting as liaison with referring physicians for neurointerventional and interventional oncology patients when the IR MD is absent.
