About The Position

Tareen Dermatology is excited to announce the opening of our newest clinic in Grand Forks, North Dakota. We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our growing team. The Advanced Practice Provider will provide comprehensive medical dermatology care, including skin cancer screenings, diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions, biopsies, procedures, patient education, and ongoing management of dermatologic diseases. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish a new clinic while working alongside an experienced team dedicated to exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current North Dakota PA-C or APRN licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Strong clinical, communication, and patient education skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Nice To Haves

  • Dermatology experience
  • Previous experience in medical, surgical, or cosmetic dermatology
  • Experience performing biopsies and dermatologic procedures
  • Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, medical histories, and dermatologic examinations
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers, and other dermatologic concerns
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Perform dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, lesion removals, and other office-based treatments
  • Assist with surgical and Mohs procedures as needed
  • Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, skincare, and preventative measures
  • Review and communicate pathology results with patients
  • Manage patient messages and follow-up care through the EMR
  • Evaluate surgical sites and perform wound checks as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and clinic policies
  • Participate in training and mentorship of clinical staff
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation
  • Perform other duties as assigned
