Exciting opportunity to practice in the upstate NY region! UR Medicine OBGYN Associates of the Finger Lakes is seeking a full time advanced practice provider to help support an established, rural practice. Searching for an APP who is eager, motivated, and who embraces caring for women. The APP will provide care in the ambulatory setting, caring for women during antepartum and postpartum periods, in addition to preventative visits, family planning, and management and treatment of minor gynecology issues. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, self-motivation, flexibility, and be open to education of learners. Candidates must be NYS licensed/license eligible, and eligible for certification.

Requirements

  • Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner (for NP role)
  • Active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing (for NP role)
  • Active New York State Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing (for NP role)
  • Current national certification as an Nurse Practitioner (for NP role)
  • Completion of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program (for PA role)
  • Active New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing (for PA role)
  • Current national certification as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA (for PA role)

Responsibilities

  • Provide care in the ambulatory setting, caring for women during antepartum and postpartum periods.
