About The Position
Olivewood Pediatrics, a respected and family‑focused practice within the Valley Children’s Primary Care Medical Group, is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Merced. Our clinic is known for its warm, supportive environment and commitment to delivering exceptional pediatric care to children from infancy through adolescence. This position offers the opportunity to maintain your own patient panel, build long-term relationships with families, and practice in an outpatient-only setting with no call responsibilities. We utilize a team-based care model alongside experienced pediatricians and provide strong clinical and administrative support. The role also offers the chance to serve a diverse and underserved population.
Requirements
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in California
- Board Certified Pediatric experience preferred (open to strong new grads with pediatric rotations)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pediatric primary care, including well‑child visits, acute care, and chronic condition management
- Collaborate closely with experienced pediatricians and fellow APPs in a team‑oriented setting
- Build lasting relationships with families in a diverse and growing community
