Nationally certified Advanced Practice Provider who provides primary and/or specialty care in a variety of healthcare settings. Functions in collaboration with the health care team in accordance with certification and licensure. Practice emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems. Responsible for dissemination of knowledge through instructing, leading and developing educational programs. Westlake MOB is expanding with their advanced-practice provider coverage, and looking for compassionate, hard-working individuals to join our large group of advanced-practice providers. Applicants will be joining a fast-paced program and will be responsible for ambulatory care for pediatric patients. The primary care pediatrics department is ready to add a qualified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to its team. The location would be Westlake MOB. This coverage could include future locations as well as some floating, but the home site will be Westlake MOB. Providers in this role will work to the top of competency providing holistic care to children in pediatrics. All candidates must be experienced and graduates of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or PA program to be considered. The ideal candidate has ambulatory experience, preferably in pediatrics, and should be comfortable handling a wide range of responsibilities throughout the day including patient care, procedures and working with a team to accomplish team care. The standard hours for this role vary by location and need. Weekends, holidays and call may be required for the role. Experienced APP providers only.
