Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)- Lung Transplant Program - Hybrid (Outpatient/Inpatient)
About The Position
The Medical College of Wisconsin’s Division of Pulmonary/Critical Care- Lung Transplant Program is seeking 2 Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to provide specialty medical care within the Hybrid (outpatient & inpatient) setting. These positions are located in Milwaukee, WI at the Center for Advanced Care at Froedtert Hospital. The Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) work as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching. Requirements
- Advanced Practice Nurse: Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing from a nationally accredited organization.
- Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies from an ARC-PA-accredited organization.
- Wisconsin RN License
- Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License
- ACLS
- BLS
- DEA
- Nurse Practitioner Certification from a nationally accredited professional nursing organization - Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP (AGACNP) highly preferred
- Wisconsin Physician Assistant License
- Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Nice To Haves
- Previous PA, NP, or RN experience in an inpatient pulmonary or lung transplant setting strongly preferred
