About The Position

Gastro Health is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our well-established private practice in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Our APPs are valued clinical partners who practice at the top of their scope, with the autonomy to manage patient care, guide treatment decisions, and build meaningful patient relationships while working in close collaboration with a supportive physician team. This role is designed with work-life balance and sustainability in mind, offering predictable schedules and a practice environment that allows for high-quality care without burnout. The role involves joining an established community practice with one board-certified gastroenterologist, 1 APP, and support staff. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with an average of 18 patient encounters per day, focusing on outpatient consults and follow-ups.

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Florida
• National certification as an NP or PA with prescriptive authority
• Minimum of 2 years of APP experience required
• Experience preferably in GI and/or internal medicine
