Cleveland Clinic is currently seeking a qualified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for an inpatient position with the Department of Hematology & Oncology. This position involves treating Leukemia patients, rounding with attendings and other team members, monitoring and reporting off on patient status and admission H&P. Additional responsibilities include: managing patients on the division (including, but not limited to: symptom management, assessment, orders and discharge summaries) taking care of patients receiving chemotherapy and performing bone marrow biopsies. Occasional weekend and holiday rotations will be required. Experience is preferred, however new graduates are welcome to apply! Please note: for APRN’s AOCNP Certification in Hematology Oncology will be required within the first two years of hire. Nationally certified Advanced Practice Provider who provides primary and/or specialty care in a variety of healthcare settings. Functions in collaboration with the health care team in accordance with certification and licensure. Practice emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems. Responsible for dissemination of knowledge through instructing, leading and developing educational programs.
