Assists physician in the care and teaching of patients. This role involves assessing patient status, writing prescriptions, determining eligibility for clinical trials, interpreting study findings, and communicating patient care information to collaborating physicians. The provider will administer therapeutic measures, dictate patient notes, manage family dynamics, and participate in multidisciplinary rounds. Responsibilities also include on-call coverage, hospital rounds, triaging patients, accurate documentation, and adapting to the changing healthcare environment. The role requires assisting staff in crises, marketing cancer treatment, determining work priorities, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to patient privacy, patient’s rights, personnel law, safety, labor, and employment law. Adherence to Company and departmental policies and procedures, including IT policies and procedures and Disaster Recovery Plan, is mandatory. Other duties as requested include keeping work areas neat, maintaining company equipment, ensuring confidentiality of patient and employee information, and assisting in training new employees. The role may require working at any Company location and working overtime when given sufficient notice.
