The Center for Neurological Restoration is seeking a PA or APRN with Adult or Family Certification to join their team. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will provide comprehensive care for patients with Parkinson’s Disease and other movement disorders in an outpatient clinic setting. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing patients, screening and assessing candidates for Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HiFU) procedures, and coordinating surgical care. This position will include working in the OR with our neurosurgeons, setting up head frames, interacting and educating patients about their surgery/procedure. New graduates are encouraged to apply, particularly those with strong surgical training and multiple surgical rotations. Flexible scheduling options are available, including either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts per week. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with the potential for occasional Saturday clinic coverage and/or evening clinic hours. No holidays or call responsibilities are anticipated. Nationally certified Advanced Practice Provider who provides primary and/or specialty care in a variety of healthcare settings. Functions in collaboration with the health care team in accordance with certification and licensure. Practice emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems. Responsible for dissemination of knowledge through instructing, leading and developing educational programs.
