About The Position
WellSpan Health is seeking a Nocturnist Advanced Practice Provider to join their team in Waynesboro, PA. Requirements
- Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
- 1 year of work experience Required
- Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required
- Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required
- BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required
- Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required
- Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse inpatient population
- Perform bedside evaluations and manage acute changes in patient conditions
- Respond to rapid responses and patient codes
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and initiate appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with attending physicians, nursing staff, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care
