The APP role in Neurology, Autonomic Disorders supports the autonomic neuroscience subspecialty under the supervision of a Neurology attending physician. The APP delivers high-quality, patient-centered care for adults with acute and chronic autonomic symptoms and disorders (e.g., postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, neurocardiogenic syncope, orthostatic hypotension, diabetic autonomic neuropathy, and related conditions). Care is delivered within standardized procedures and protocols approved by the Interdisciplinary Practice Committee (IDPC) and aligned with hospital governance, quality, and safety standards. The APP collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to optimize diagnostic evaluation, treatment, education, and care coordination across inpatient and outpatient settings.
