Advanced Practice Provider - Neuro ICU Inpatient
About The Position
Cooper University Health Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Advance Practice Nurse) for their Neuro Intensive Care Unit. This is a full-time position. The applicant should be board-certified and have experience in areas such as ICU, Neurosurgery, In-patient Neurology, Trauma, Surgery, Hospitalist, and/or Emergency Medicine. The Advance Practice Provider will manage neuro-critical care patients, working alongside two Neurointensivists and rotational Residents in Neurology and Neurosurgery. The role involves providing coverage for overnights, weekends, and holidays, specifically on the full-time night shift. The provider should be comfortable reviewing imaging, and training will be provided to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements
- Board-certified
- Experienced candidates required (ICU, Neurosurgery, In-patient Neurology, Trauma, Surgery, Hospitalist, and/or Emergency Medicine)
- Master's Degree - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Board certification Nurse Practitioner and Acute Care certification or Board certification as Physician Assistant
- Active New Jersey License
- American Heart Association BLS
- CDS/DEA
