About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advanced Practice Provider to deliver high-quality healthcare services to Laboratory employees within an Occupational Health setting. This position works closely with Occupational Health physicians and serves as a clinical resource for Occupational Health staff, providing care through the lens of occupational medicine. This is a fully qualified, career-level position requiring independent clinical judgment and the ability to resolve a wide range of occupational health issues while working under limited supervision.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of recent clinical experience in Occupational Medicine OR a clinically related specialty, including: Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Sports Medicine
• Physician Assistant (PA-C)
• Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) through the NCCPA
• Licensed by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners/New Mexico Medical Board
• Current New Mexico Pharmacy License
• Current DEA License
• Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Certification through a nationally recognized Nurse Practitioner certifying organization (including the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC))
• Licensed by the New Mexico Board of Nursing as both: Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Current New Mexico Pharmacy License
• Current DEA License

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational healthcare services to Laboratory employees.
• Assist Occupational Health physicians with clinical care and patient management.
• Serve as a clinical resource for Occupational Health staff.
• Deliver patient care consistent with the scope of occupational medicine.
• Apply Laboratory objectives and clinical expertise to resolve a wide range of occupational health issues.
• Exercise independent clinical judgment while working under limited direction.
