About The Position

Seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider Hospitalist for medical, surgical and ICU patients at Geneva Medical Center. Nurse Practitioners must have ACNP or be willing to obtain to support ICU. The schedule is part time (20 hrs./week) day shift, rotating weekends and holidays. APP experience required for part time opportunity. Brief Overview The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by an Advanced Practice Provider as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws.

Requirements

(MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Required)
Demonstrated leadership skills. (Required proficiency)
Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships (Required proficiency)
Computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. (Required proficiency)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. (Required proficiency)
Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required)
Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of Ohio (Required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required)
Current APRN License (Required)

Nice To Haves

1+ years as a Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Preferred)
