About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Hospitalist to help meet the growing demand of our hospitalist program at Franciscan Health Crown Point. This is a high performing, well-respected group with a great culture of teamwork. The ideal candidate will have one to two years of experience with inpatient care and Internal Medicine, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. The candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and will need to work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members to ensure delivery of the highest quality of patient care. The role focuses on the observation/clinical decision unit with an average inpatient volume of 8-12 patients. There is a limited ICU setting, and all admissions require Pulmonary/Critical Care Consult. Requirements

  • Master's Degree Required
  • Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) – Required - or Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification – Required
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association – Required
  • One to two years of experience with inpatient care and Internal Medicine.
  • Strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members to ensure delivery of the highest quality of patient care.
