About The Position

Sentara RMH Hahn Oncology Center is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join their growing Hematology/Oncology team in Harrisonburg, VA. This is a 100% outpatient opportunity where the provider will build meaningful relationships with patients, collaborate closely with physicians, and practice at the top of their license in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The role offers a true work-life balance in a mission-driven practice.

Requirements

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Oncology certification (AOCNP) preferred at hire or required within a defined timeframe after employment

Responsibilities

Partner with physicians to manage hematology and oncology treatment plans
Evaluate and follow patients in an ambulatory clinic setting
Order and interpret labs, imaging, and medications
Educate and support patients and families throughout their cancer journey
