About The Position
Community Health Network is seeking a board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-established cardiology team in Indianapolis, IN. This is a general cardiology opportunity that includes outpatient clinic and hospital rounding. The role is based at Community Hospital South. The network is a leading not-for-profit, provider-led, multi-specialty healthcare destination in central Indiana, known for its exceptional and simply delivered care.
Requirements
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Must successfully complete a nationally recognized Advanced Practice Nurse certification examination or have current national certification and maintain certification on an ongoing basis.
- Must be eligible for prescriptive authority under the criteria outlined by the Indiana State Board of Nursing and maintain eligibility on an ongoing basis.
- Licensed and certified within the state of Indiana.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in cardiology, ER, PCU, or ICU settings is strongly preferred.
- Cardiology experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Round on patients in the hospital.
- Work a Monday through Friday schedule.
- Participate in holiday coverage one day per year.
- Rotate every fifth weekend.
