About The Position

Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) – Cardiology – Salt Lake City, UT When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” About this role: As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Cardiology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. This position will be housed in the Cardiac Molecular Imaging (CMI) department and primarily support all non-invasive imaging cardiovascular patients out our LDS Hospital Your hours would be 4 days per week, 7a-6p with an occasional weekend No call at this time, but may be considered for the future

Requirements

APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
Active, unobstructed Utah license, or the ability to obtain one
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
Minimum 1 years of cardiology experience as an NP or PA

Responsibilities

Managing patient lists and queues, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate scheduling for cardiovascular procedures and tests.
Reviewing and triaging orders, verifying patient information, and coordinating care delivery, including stress test supervision, pacemaker/defibrillator device interrogations, ambulatory telemetry monitoring and mail-out options for remote patients.
Documenting all patient interactions and scheduling attempts in the electronic medical record.
Maintaining clear communication and accurate records.
Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other APPs to optimize patient care pathways and ensure high-quality cardiovascular services.
Participating in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members as the service line grows and evolves.
