About The Position

Riverside Health is seeking an experienced or highly motivated Orthopedic Hand Sub-Specialized Advanced Practice Provider to join their dynamic orthopedic team. This role is designed for a clinically focused APP who will support the evaluation, treatment, and longitudinal care of patients with hand, wrist, and upper extremity conditions in collaboration with a dedicated orthopedic hand surgeon, who will serve as the APP’s sole supervising physician. This is a primarily outpatient, clinic-based role with no current inpatient or trauma coverage expectations. The successful candidate will serve as a key clinical presence within the orthopedic hand practice, supporting timely access, high-quality patient care, continuity across the care journey, and the continued growth of a dedicated hand and upper extremity program within Riverside Orthopedics. The APP will have a regular clinic footprint in both Newport News and Williamsburg and should be comfortable supporting patients across both locations as part of the ongoing practice model. Experience in orthopedics, hand surgery, upper extremity care, or musculoskeletal medicine is preferred.
