Advanced Practice Provider – Family Medicine - Greene
About The Position
Sentara Medical Group is seeking an experienced APP (NP or PA) to join Sentara Greene Family Medicine, located in Ruckersville, just outside of Charlottesville, VA. This is a busy practice with an established multi-generational patient base, offering a collaborative work environment to provide care for patients in a growing rural community. The role features a regular weekday schedule with 4.5 clinic days and 0.5 admin time, with an average patient volume of 16-18 per day. Call is on an approximate 12-week rotation, with occasional weekends and holidays. Sentara is a not-for-profit integrated healthcare provider with over 131 years in business, offering hundreds of sites of care and a large health plan. Requirements
- Active NP or PA license.
- Minimum master’s degree required.
- Experience preferred but open to exceptional new grads.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in a growing rural community.
- Collaborate with a team in a busy practice.
- Manage an average patient volume of 16-18 per day.
- Participate in an approximate 12-week call rotation.
- Utilize DAX Copilot AI for patient transcription.
