Advanced Practice Provider Electrophysiology
About The Position
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Cardiology Electrophysiology – St. George, UT. When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” The St. George Heart Rhythm team is comprised of 5 EP Cardiologists and 6 APPs. As an Advanced Practice Provider for this team, you would work mostly with one assigned physician. You would work in the clinic in St. George, UT 4 ten hour day shifts Mon-Fri with your day off being determined by the department. Approximately 1 week every 6-7 weeks, you would work in the hospital to include the weekend. We have outreach locations in Cedar City and Mesquite in which you will periodically cover. During the inpatient week, you would also take call for consults from the ED etc. A structured program is in place for device training. This is a new position due to growth.
Requirements
- Must have or be eligible for a current and unrestricted NP or PA Utah License.
- APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program.
- AANP or NCCPA certification.
- BLS and ACLS certification, and DEA.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an NP or PA in a Cardiology setting, required.
- EP experience highly desired.

Responsibilities
