Advanced Practice Provider Cardiothoracic Surgery
About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with cardiothoracic surgery expertise to become part of a collaborative team committed to exceptional patient care, clinical excellence, and a healthy work-life balance. This primarily inpatient role offers a dynamic blend of operating room experience, ICU management, and perioperative patient care. APPs rotate through key responsibilities, creating a diverse and engaging practice environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current or eligible Utah NP or PA licensure
- DEA registration
- ACLS certification
- Cardiothoracic Surgery APP experience required
- Minimum of one year of independent Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) experience required
- New graduates cannot be considered at this time.
Responsibilities
- Operating Room
- Pre- and Post-Operative Care
- ICU Rounding and Management
- Predominantly inpatient practice with occasional clinic responsibilities
- Shared 1:4 call schedule
- One full week of call every four weeks
- Followed by a flexible post-call week focused on backup support, including clinic calls, ICU calls, and OR assistance
