About The Position

Seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider for part time role with the Surgical Breast Oncology team primarily located at Ahuja Medical Center. The schedule is two 10 hr. days with the option of half day on Saturday. The APP will see medical breast, high risk breast, benign breast biopsy consultation, and breast cancer surgical survivorship. APP experience is required and surgical or oncology experience preferred. A Brief Overview The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant as specified by the Ohio State Nursing Board and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws

Requirements

Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program (Required)
(MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Required)
1+ years as a Physician Assistant
1+ years as a Nurse Practitioner
Demonstrated leadership skills. (Required proficiency)
Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships. (Required proficiency)
Computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. (Required proficiency)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. (Required proficiency)
Physician Assistant (PA) (Required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required)
Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (Required)
Practice with a supervising physician (Required Upon Hire)
Maintain national PA Certification (Required)
Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required)
Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of Ohio (Required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required)
Current APRN License (Required)
