Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA) - Nephrology
About The Position
Tampa General Hospital (TGH) is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA) to join their Nephrology service. This role involves providing medical services to individuals, families, and groups, with a focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases. The APRN or PA will work autonomously and collaboratively to diagnose and manage clients' healthcare problems. A key responsibility will be rounding on inpatients for a busy consulting nephrology service, caring for both transplant and non-transplant Nephrology patients. The role requires maintaining an annual protocol with a supervising physician, as mandated by state professional regulatory agencies, and performing all job duties in alignment with TGH's mission, vision, and values.
Requirements
- Current licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida.
- Adult Gerontology Acute Care or Acute Care board certification required for APRNs.
Nice To Haves
- Nephrology experience preferred.
- New Graduates considered.
Responsibilities
