About The Position

Corewell Health Urgent Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their practice, which consists of over 60 APPs and a few physicians. The APP will be credentialed at multiple locations and typically work at 2-3 sites. This role involves caring for patients across all age groups, supported by a team including medical assistants, radiology technicians, and practice managers, with access to consults from all specialties. The position is within the Corewell Health West Medical Group, a region of Corewell Health™ (formerly BHSH System), a not-for-profit health system serving 13 counties in West Michigan. This system includes 22 hospitals, over 300 outpatient locations, and Priority Health, serving over 1.2 million members.

Requirements

• Master's Degree (for Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant).
• For Nurse Practitioners educated/certified after 2000: evidence of completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• 3 years of relevant experience (for Nurse Practitioner).
• Current, relevant clinical experience.
• Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role.
• LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan (for Nurse Practitioner).
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS).
• CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS).
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program (for Physician Assistant).
• LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan (for Physician Assistant).
• CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (for Physician Assistant).
