About The Position

Centurion is the new provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a per diem Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) at the Western IL Correctional Center in Mt. Sterling, IL. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant works under the supervision of a physician in a correctional environment and is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management. This includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, performing assessments, diagnosing patients, and medication management.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Illinois NP/PA license
• Ability to pass background check
• 2+ years experience working as an NP/PA
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
