About The Position

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-time Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Pontiac Correctional Center in Pontiac, Illinois. This position is M-F 8a-4p No Weekends. The NP/PA works under the supervision of a physician in a correctional environment and is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management. This includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, performing assessments, diagnosing patients, and medication management.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Illinois NP/PA license
• Ability to pass background check
• 2+ years experience working as an NP/PA
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
