About The Position

The West Virginia University Health System is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for the Emergency Department to support Bluefield Regional Medical Center (BRMC) and Princeton Community Hospital (PCH). This role offers the opportunity to practice community emergency medicine within a supportive team atmosphere. BRMC sees approximately 18,000 visits per year, and PCH sees approximately 40,000 visits per year. The APP will benefit from the resources of the tertiary and academic West Virginia University Health System. The Department of Emergency Medicine is comprised of over 100 full-time members across various practice sites, offering diverse clinical experiences anchored by an academic affiliation with WVU's School of Medicine. This position provides competitive private practice compensation, anchored to an academic department.

Requirements

• Must have a PA or NP degree.
• Must be able to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license.
• The employer also accepts foreign educational equivalents.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Emergency Medicine is preferred.
