About The Position
Provides diagnosis and treatment of patients within the scope of practice as defined by all applicable Federal, State and local laws, regulations, protocols, etc. and within the individual Advanced Practice Provider's (APP) particular clinical specialty area, licensure and competency level. Performs acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures as appropriate. Requirements
- Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
- 1 year Work Experience Required
- Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required
- Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required
- BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required
- Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required
- Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Gastroenterology is preferred but not required, new grads accepted
- Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred
