The Advanced Practice Professional (APP) provides high-quality, patient-centered care as a member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, the APP assesses, diagnoses, treats, and manages patients within their scope of practice and area of specialty. The APP is responsible for delivering evidence-based care, promoting positive patient outcomes, maintaining professional and regulatory standards, and supporting the clinical, educational, and operational goals of the department and organization. WVU Medicine East is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our growing dermatology program within a large, multidisciplinary outpatient clinic environment. This position offers the opportunity to work side-by-side with an experienced physician in a collaborative setting that includes Family Medicine, Pediatrics, and other specialty services. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive dermatologic care, including patient consultations, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, follow-up care, and management of both acute and chronic skin conditions. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical assessment skills and a keen eye for visual pattern recognition, enabling the identification and diagnosis of a wide range of dermatologic conditions. In addition to conducting examinations and consultations, the provider will be expected to perform office-based dermatologic procedures and assist in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. We are seeking a motivated clinician who is comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional outcomes for patients across the region.
