About The Position
The primary purpose of the Advanced Practice Nurse (Nurse Stroke Coordinator) position is to work with the Director of the Stroke Program to oversee the Comprehensive Stroke Center including patient care management, program development, quality improvement, and staff and community education and to provide direct patient care for the stroke patient population.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
- Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
- Master's Degree required.
- BLS certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- At least two (2) years’ experience in Neurology and Neurosciences is preferred.
- CCRN and ACLS preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Comprehensive Stroke Center including patient care management, program development, quality improvement, and staff and community education.
- Provide direct patient care for the stroke patient population.
