This part-time or PRN Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Clinician role is at Baptist Oktibbeha Medical Center in Starkville, Mississippi. The community-focused hospital serves Mississippi’s Golden Triangle and surrounding areas, and offers more than 20 medical specialties, 12 clinics, and care from more than 300 doctors and nurses. The emergency department has 16 beds, sees approximately 24,000 annual visits (about 65 patients per day), and is a Level III Trauma Center. The role uses Epic and involves 12-hour shifts. Available specialty services include orthopedics, maternity care, breast care, plastic surgery, pediatrics, urology, ear, nose and throat, and oral services.
Requirements
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician.
- 1–2 years of emergency medicine experience.
