About The Position

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a Full time, Permanent experienced, innovative, and clinically grounded leader to join the Access to Care Program as an Advanced Practice Clinical Leader (APCL). Reporting to the Clinical Director, General Outpatient and Integrated Mental Health, the APCL will play a key role in advancing clinical excellence, professional practice, quality improvement, and system transformation across outpatient services. Working in close partnership with operational, physician, and professional practice leaders, the APCL will promote high-quality, equitable, and recovery-oriented care while supporting the implementation of evidence-informed practices, optimizing care pathways, and enhancing outcomes for patients, families, and communities. Drawing on advanced clinical expertise, implementation science, and systems thinking, the APCL will serve as a clinical expert, mentor, and change leader. The successful candidate will provide consultation and support in complex clinical situations, foster excellence in assessment, treatment planning, risk management, and transitions of care, and strengthen clinical capability through mentorship, coaching, and professional development. As a leader in professional practice, the APCL will support the development of clinical standards, promote measurement-based care, and cultivate a culture of continuous learning, reflective practice, and interprofessional collaboration.
