About The Position

Preparing orders, managing inventory levels for the department, and efficiently receiving and storing incoming supplies. Apply meticulous attention to detail while preparing sterile and non-sterile compounds and repackaging bulk medications for dispensing. Ensure the reliable operation of our automated dispensing systems by expertly refilling and maintaining them. Serve as a vital communication link—triage incoming calls, provide essential information, and act as a professional liaison between the pharmacy, patients, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
IV chemotherapy compounding experience.
