About The Position
This role facilitates operational efficiencies by providing assistance to pharmacists through procuring, processing, and distributing information and pharmaceuticals. The technician will prepare sterile compound products including Intravenous and/or Chemotherapeutic medications.
Requirements
- 2 of the most recent 4 years’ experience working as a Pharmacy Technician
- Must maintain Infirmary Health Sterile Compounding and Aseptic Technique Pathway
- Must maintain Infirmary Health Hazardous Drug Handling and Chemotherapy Compounding Pathway OR Completion of the PTCB Compounding and Sterile Preparation Technician Certification (CSPT)
- Current registry with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
Responsibilities
