About The Position

We are seeking an exceptional Advanced Nurse Unit Manager to lead, coordinate, and enhance consumer care within our Mental Health Unit and/or Community Service. Requirements
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Holds, or is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Holds a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent in mental health nursing.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide the nursing team and/or multi-disciplinary team activities, ensuring high standards of care and effective delivery in a defined service area.
- Utilise your extensive clinical knowledge to drive the quality and continuity of consumer care, addressing and resolving any inconsistencies between practice and policy.
- Manage local resources effectively to achieve optimal outcomes for consumers and support the nursing and mental health services.
- Foster a positive work culture by developing team performance, mentoring staff, and promoting continuous improvement.
- Take responsibility for nursing and multidisciplinary outcomes within the practice setting, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards.
