Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
- 4 years of experience in mechanical design and development with a focus on advanced mechanical systems
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles, methodologies, and best practices for complex systems
- Proficiency in CAD software and mechanical analysis/simulation tools to develop and validate designs effectively
- Experience with materials selection, manufacturing processes, and product testing to ensure design feasibility and reliability
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency specifically in NX CAD software
- Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS, PhD)
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects and mentoring junior engineers
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies in mechanical design
- Familiarity with digital design tools and integration with cross-functional product development teams
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute advanced mechanical design projects for test equipment and test fixtures to support development, qualification, and production ensuring adherence to quality and performance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define complex mechanical requirements and develop innovative solutions.
- Perform detailed mechanical analysis and simulations to validate design integrity and optimize system performance.
